Built to fly. Built to survive the landing.
What auto-hover actually does, how long it stays in the air, and what makes foam the right material for beginners — before you order.
Auto-hover uses built-in gyroscope stabilisation to automatically maintain a level altitude when you release the throttle control. Without it, an RC plane immediately starts to sink or bank when the pilot stops inputting corrections — which causes constant crashes for beginners. With auto-hover active, the drone holds its position in the air automatically. The pilot only needs to steer — not constantly fight to keep it level. This is the difference between a frustrating first flight and one that actually works. It is the single feature that makes this suitable for ages 8 and up rather than experienced pilots only.

Each battery gives approximately 8 minutes of flight time — giving a total of up to 16 minutes of continuous play before both need recharging. This is significantly longer than most entry-level RC planes that include only one battery. Both batteries charge via the included USB cable. Each takes approximately 35 minutes from flat. With 2 batteries you can charge one while flying the other for near-continuous play.

Foam absorbs impact by flexing and compressing on collision rather than cracking or shattering like plastic. Most crashes at normal flight speeds — into grass, fences, or light objects — leave the drone fully functional. The foam is also significantly lighter than plastic, which means it falls more slowly, requires less thrust to fly, and puts less stress on the motors. The result is a drone that is more forgiving to fly and longer-lasting in everyday use.

To perform a flip, gain altitude, then hold a dedicated flip button and push the control stick in the desired direction. The gyroscope handles the rotation automatically and returns to stable hover at the end. Most beginners successfully land their first flip within the first or second session. The auto-hover recovery after the flip means it does not spiral out of control if the pilot does not react quickly enough after the manoeuvre completes.

They serve two purposes: they look dramatic and make the drone visually striking in dim light or at dusk, and they help the pilot orientate the drone's direction during flight — crucial for knowing which way the nose is pointing when the drone is at a distance. Night flying in a clear open space works well — the LED trail makes every flip and turn visually dramatic. Avoid night flying near obstacles without good ambient light as depth perception is reduced.

Most RC planes for beginners crash immediately and never get used again. Auto-hover, crash-resistant foam, and two batteries are the three features that change that outcome.
Stays in the air automatically
The gyroscope auto-hover system holds the drone at a stable altitude when the pilot releases the throttle — no manual correction needed to keep it level. A first-time pilot can take off, release the controls, and the drone stays put in the air. This is what makes the difference between a first flight that works and one that ends in a tree on the first attempt.

Crash-resistant foam absorbs impacts that would break a plastic RC plane — wings flex and bodies dent rather than crack. Combined with the auto-hover that prevents the worst spiralling crashes, the drone handles the inevitable beginner mistakes and keeps flying. Two batteries in the box means 16 minutes of total flight time per charge session — enough for a proper play session.

LED wingtip lights make every flight visually dramatic and help the pilot track orientation at a distance. 360° flip tricks in all four directions give pilots something to progress towards once basic flight is mastered. The fighter jet design makes it look fast and impressive even hovering in place — which makes a difference to how much it actually gets used.
